Twitter and Me

Thank you for following me on Twitter (or considering it)

I use Twitter personally and professionally.  Fortunately, many of my professional followers have become virtual friends — 140 characters at a time — through thousands of updates.

What to expect from me

Retweets of articles on business ethics, environmental financing, corporate stewardship and globalization.  I will also RT the occasional inspirational quote or observation, but nothing toooooo mushy/gooey.

Articles from my blog on whole-brain communication, business writing, business communications and books I’m itching to read.

Writing prompts for bloggers and newsletter publishers who write about business, economics, the environment, globalization and consulting/services.  I take inspiration for these prompts in news items from intelligent sources like NPR, BBC, The Atlantic, Reuters…you get the idea.

Requests for input to articles I’m writing, whether for myself or ghostwriting for clients.

Respectful feedback and intelligent conversation based on your tweets.

Updates from and about the road from the seat of my BMW motorcycle. In 2010 I took up long-distance motorcycle adventure riding. More about that on my RoadTrip website.

What to ask of me

Input to articles/posts you’ve written.

Requests to RT something you find interesting or that would help you further your cause.  I may not honor your request, but I’ll always consider it.

Referrals of other Tweeps/professionals for your just & worthy cause.

Laughter at adult hubris, the wit of children, and the candor of the elderly.

Please don’t ask me

To look at porn.

To participate in partisan political bickering.

To consider your MLM opportunity.

Then why am I on Twitter?

To give and get. Twitter allows me to connect with interesting people and feed my mind.  I enjoy the give and take nature of group conversation.  But in summary,  I’m on Twitter to grow my business writing clientele.
