Nicely done Tamela.

Until EVERYONE gets on a "wave" (pun intended) platform that allows for intimacy, privacy and file attachment or swapping, email will continue to be the default ..."reserved for my most formal and private correspondence" as well.

Social Media is fast evolving and it is certainly allowing us to interact and engage in a manner we've not experienced before. We have new and exciting tools in the tool box now. One size doesn't fit all, but don't be surprised when it does.

I have to agree with the article - to some degree. Many social media platforms have been on the rise because of their timeliness and ease of use, but are they true means of connecting with an audience for business purposes? What's going to result in stronger sales, tweeting with a mix of personal and professional colleagues on Twitter about a promotion, or sending out a targeted email campaign to a well-focused list of existing customers and prospects? At the least we have to explore the question.
